Lusitana Boat is a company offering private catamaran cruises on the Tagus river, in Lisbon. Aboard a Bali 5.4 luxury catamaran (up to 37 guests), departing from Doca de Alcântara, it offers sunset experiences, dining on board, parties and events — always private, just for each client's group. It holds 5,0★ on Google (180 reviews) and serves guests in five languages.

It is a project of the couple Paulo Alexandrino and Yara Nunez, who are also partners in Do It Better, a leading vocational training company in Portugal.

Paulo Alexandrino

Co-founder

His experience in business consulting prepared him to invest in his own venture. He started with a single vocational training centre — Do It Better, in Alverca — and expanded it to more than 15 locations across Portugal, making it a reference in the sector. His love for the sea then led him to buy a boat and found Lusitana Boat, bringing the same entrepreneurial spirit to the Tagus river. He grew up in Alverca, lived and studied in Tomar, went to university in Santarém and lives on the south bank (Almada).

Yara Nunez

Co-founder

With a degree in Psychology and a specialisation in Human Resources, Yara has always been a natural leader. Her dynamic, creative approach drove the diversification and growth of Do It Better. Originally from São João del-Rei (Minas Gerais, Brazil), she is a partner in Do It Better and co-founder of Lusitana Boat with her husband, Paulo — together they turned a passion for the Tagus into a project that unites two countries.
